In November 2021, AFH Media was blessed to be able be a part of a beautiful couple’s special day. Jillian and Je’Quan tied the knot on November 6 at Whitetail Lodge in Marysville. Jodi had captured wedding photos at this location several years ago when she first started photography, but hadn’t been there since. It was a beautiful as ever and they had a gorgeous day to celebrate their nuptials. The leaves were mostly off of the trees and it was a little chilly outside, but they didn’t let that stop them from raising the roof!
This couple pulled together a gorgeous wedding in 60 days! YES! 60 days. And it was no small job, either. Let’s start with the fact that they have 5 children between them. We know that doing anything with a house full of kids isn’t ever easy. Next, they had 22 people in their wedding party! YES! 22 people. And that doesn’t include the littles. 8 of them, That’s right. 22 adults and 8 kids in their wedding party. And they pulled it off in 60 days!
When the venue says that they are open and it’s the date you wanted, you jump on it. Luckily for them, they have some wonderful friends and family that helped make it all happen.
Capturing a couple's rings and details is always a highlight for us. We loved being able to be outside on this chilly day to capture wedding ring photos.
One of our favorite photos from this day was finding our second shooter, Tisha (Tisha Landrum Photography) in a selfie with the guys. She was the perfect second shooter to work with this crazy group of guys!
